I've looked at your photography. Pretty good stuff. Usually when I see weddings I cringe but you sir have managed to have a really nice and artistic look to them!
I have some friends that do wedding and I can't even stand to look at their work. Also, you have a very nice and consistent look between all of your photographs regardless of what they are. I really like that.

If there's one thing Roohshad certainly isnt lacking, its charm! But I guess most of you already know that from having met him or can tell from the way he takes pictures. I find that very different from most of the photographers, and I have met my share while working for an ad agency. You find funny, you find nice, but you dont often find all of that plus a charmer. And while he may not admit it, he's also a fantastic dancer.

I thoroughly enjoyed our brief meeting Roohshad, its a pity we only met at the end of the show, and I have to admit, you're the only one that has ever correct my (you know), AND lived to tell about it :)

Look me up when youre in NYC.

All the best with the clicking.

Omg Roohshad I dont know how I didnt see your new site earlier. I love these pictures so much. Half my office just stood behind me as that slideshow went on. Really, each pictures transports you. I dont know how you do it but you always manage to capture that emotion of people! You remind me of that great photographer Cartier (I cant remember his name, journo classes were a while ago) but he too was known for just that right moment, you seem to have that gift too. God bless you, and thank you ever so much for those sweet pictures you randomly took of me, they are still, 2 years later, being cherished. Come around to the office sometime, we need new facebook avatars!! :)

Rooh and his enchanting work came into my life just when I realized I had fallen in love and knew that I had found THE one for me. Now that's what I call a beautiful coincidence. My first glimpse of Rooh's work was pictures from my friend's wedding (Lionel and Patricia). Little did I know that it was just a small window into the wonderful world that Rooh paints with his pictures. A few pictures was all that it took for me to know that my wedding would be incomplete without Rooh capturing the moments. I think what drew me instantly to Rooh's pictures were that it told me so much about the man behind the lens and made me realize that I want people to see my wedding through his eyes. Today, I'm in the process of 'wooing' Rooh to cover my wedding which is fast approaching!! I just can't wait to be in his 'Things that made me happy this year' Album :D Thank you Rooh for being you!!

I met Rooshad when he first started his photography on a travel. I still remember how he didnt know anything about what he was doing and still managed to get such great images better than mine. He innately seemed to know how to frame his images ( I remember discussing the Rule of Thirds, and he didnt have a clue of what I was talking about), and how to get what he wanted out of a subject, and how to command the attention of the room when he wanted to and at the same time have the ability to be invisible. I think every now and then we see people that are just born to do certain things, I think you have already answered you calling Roo. The way you manage to capture a person, whether its a celebrity or the kids in a slum, you're always spot on.
You are to photography what Sachin Tendulkar is to cricket. (congrats to India on the world cup by the way)
Wishing you many happy clicks for the years to come.

Noumie, Me and our entire family is very impressed by the exceptional work you have done for us Rooh. I'm sure most artists believe that their art is a personal extension of themselves, but in your case it really is! This is evident in the way you intuitively know how to capture people and moments, even the seemingly insignificant ones. But what really stood out for us was the way you seem to capture the very essence of your subject. You have a rare gift for understanding the personalities, emotions, and underlying feelings of an event. You certainly did this for us.
You were friendly, professional, and really put everyone at ease. You blended right in with our small group, and it seemed like you were more of a guest than a professional just doing your job. You helped to make our day special and we will be forever grateful for the beautiful pictures!

I am not much of a relationship person and probably the only reason I would get married is so that Roohshad can take pictures . There is not much I need to say about his work , a glance and you shall see they speak volumes for themselves. A good photographer they say is one whose is a keen observer of life and I don't think that you would find anybody better than Rooh when it comes to this . His attention to detail in every aspect is what makes his work oh so wonderful . You are brilliant , now go give Ansel Adams a run for his money . Hugs

I hate photographers! Ive spend all my life avoiding them at events and such, I do a rather good job at that, and then there was Rooh. The minute he realised I was avoiding him, he went at me with zeal! I still remember how I wanted to ring his neck cause every other time when I looked up, he was there, either watching or taking pictures of us. And then we spoke. Its funny how much he already knew by just observing me. Rooh, I tell ya mate, you really know what you're doing, I still remember you were correct about everything!
And it was after our 15 minute chat that I kinda eased up, gave him a chance to take pictures cause he showed me some he had taken without me knowing and they were brilliant captures. Thanks mate. I
And Rooh, I've kept my promise, I haven't been hating on any photographers to date.
We miss you and cant wait for you to visit us in NY.
Cheers
Dan

I saw Rooh's pictures on the internet when we were looking for a photographer in India for my sister who was to have her wedding in Delhi. We are from New York and were thinking of just bringing the photographer we had hired here to India, and I'm so glad I found Rooh's website. While our photographer here was awesome, Rooh had this brilliant eye for emotion and the quirky. The amazing thing is, that I think his pictures change and take the character of the people he shoots, cause now in retrospect, having seen 3 different wedding albums of 3 of our friends that he has shot, I realise his style changes for the person. Quirky, traditional, and then super arty. You are a gifted soul Rooh, God bless you, you capture the joy in people that don't happen everyday and you make it live forever. I'm still getting over the fact that Sana took to you so quickly, she never talks to strangers let alone lets someone hold a big camera in front of her face. You have the gift of putting anyone at ease, and like I told you that day, someday I'm sure you will have a lot more than photography fans!
With all our love and eternal gratitude,
Tina, Dan & Sana

I met Roohshad a year ago at my cousins wedding. His professionalism, enthusiasm and dedication are what hit me first. I could see it from a mile. Not only were Roohshad's professional skills demonstrated, but his interpersonal skills meshed warmly with the guests. He knows how to respect their space and bring out the best in them. His charismatic personality matched with his amazing technical skill and immaculate attention to details, made his documentation of my cousins wedding really special.
I went home and checked him out online...and was stunned at the images he had captured. I spent hours looking at those pictures....each one so alive and real.... like I was actually there, reliving the moment. Every picture is laced with emotion, color and a story.
My advice - book him quick!

I've never attended a Christian wedding. Oh wait, but I have. Through your pictures. Your pictures have this transporting quality where you take me to the scene of crime. Warm. That's the first word that comes to mind when I look at your pictures, whether it's the photoshop filters you use or the essence of the subjects themselves, (i'd bet on the latter). I love your pictures and as much as i shy away from your camera, I love the pictures you take of me. The pictures you take capture personality, which is hard for even writers to do. You bring imagination to life. Rooh, I'm a fan and always will be. Love and kisses.

Roohshad your work is simply breathetaking. I saw you at a friends wedding and saw your website on your assistants shirts. I never imagined such amazing pictures. You have managed to make everyone in those images look their very very best! I cant wait to see chuu's pictures. Dont ever stop doing what you do, there aren't too many people I've seen or heard of that can, and certainly not with your kind of energy and style. It was a pleasure watching you work.
Cheers

Roohshad's work can only be described as breathtaking and beautiful. I was recommended his work from a friend when I described to him the type of photographer I wanted for my wedding. I wanted to have a Photo Journalist touch rather than your traditional Indian photog who says "Madam, look here, look down, act shy," etc. Upon looking at his website, I was so moved by his photos that I instantly knew it was a match made in heaven.

And how true it was. From the first conversation to the many that continue, Roohshad shows that he is not only a talented artist, but that he is a compassionate individual. It was clear to me that he cared about his clients and worked at building a relationship with everyone. The best thing I love about him is that he is not arrogant about his work. The photos speak for themselves and you often do not see this humbling quality in photographers as talented as Roohshad.

We decided due to his schedule being booked during my wedding, that we would meet in Agra before for a Portaiture Session and some of his other photographers shot our actual wedding. The one day we spent in Agra was one of the best days during our entire trip. Roohshad has a clear vision and the ability to act quickly to capture moments in a magical way. The whole day was shot at many beautiful spots and Roohshad worked well in directing us for amazing pictures. We could not have been happier with our shots and to this day, it is our most prized photo collection. The Agra photos, wedding pictures were beautifully told in a story book way in our amazing albums also designed and produced by him.

If you want a photographer who can create moments out of ordinary minutes, and turn them into priceless pieces of art, then Roohshad is worth every penny and more.

Thanks, Roohsh for an amazing adventure and a life long friendship.
